The Government of Sindh, Finance Department, has officially issued the Office Memorandum No. FD(SR-I)08(01)/2026-27 , dated 22 July 2026 , announcing the Revised Basic Pay Scales-2026 , Adhoc Relief Allowance-2026 , and other important salary-related decisions for civil servants across Sindh. The revised pay package will be effective from 1st July 2026 and applies to all eligible civil employees of the Government of Sindh. Government of Sindh Clarifies Final Policy on Date of Birth Correction Description The Government of Sindh has clarified that the Date of Birth recorded at the time of joining government service is final and cannot be changed later under Rule 12-A of the Sindh Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules, 1974. The Government of Sindh, Finance Department, has reiterated an important rule regarding the rectification of Date of Birth (DOB) in the service records of government employees. According to Sindh Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules, 1974 , specifically Rule 12-A , the Date of Birth recorded at the time of joining government service is final and  cannot be altered later under any circumstances .
