Sindh Government Announces Revised School Upgradation Policy 2025 and New Upgradation Committee Formation

 The Government of Sindh's School Education & Literacy Department (SELD) has officially released the Revised School Upgradation Policy 2025, outlining new criteria for upgrading primary, elementary, and secondary schools across both urban and rural areas of Sindh. The policy focuses on expanding educational access, reducing overcrowding, and enhancing infrastructure. It also introduces provisions for evening shift school upgrades to address capacity challenges.

Additionally, a dedicated School Upgradation Committee 2025 has been formed to oversee the policy’s implementation, ensuring transparent and data-driven decisions for school development projects.

These notifications represent a significant step toward Educational reform in Sindh, aligning with the goals of inclusive growth and improved learning environments in Pakistan.

  The government of Sindh issued a notification of an increase in the salary of government employees . According to the notification issued by the Finance Department, the salaries of all the employees from grade 1 to 16 in the subordinate institutions of the Sindh government have been increased by 35 percent and the wages of all employees above grade 17 have been increased by 30 percent as ad-hoc allowance. which will be given on the existing basic pay. Apart from this, a notification has been issued to increase the grade wise in all employees' deputation/travel allowance. Remember that this increased allowance will be applicable from 1st July 2023.
